Fall Fun

I used to love fall. Then last year when I was unemployed and did not have the school year to make the changing of seasons make sense, I found myself wishing it would stay summer forever. But both last year and this year I have fallen in love with some of fall's elements again (but I will say I haven't missed the sometimes chilly weather fall brings, though it didn't have to be 85 for so long either). Last year I had my first ever pumpkin carving experience (yes, at the age of 23 at that). While I did not have the chance to do so again this year, I had another new adventure: going to a corn maze! Yes, I'm 24 and this was my first corn maze. I don't think my parents were into fall festivities.

Anyhow, so the corn maze sounded and looked neat...

But it turned out to not be very exciting. At least in my opinion. But that was OK, but I was there with my small group girls, and they make everything fun! Including bales of hay!

We also took the hayride twice, which was also not the most exciting thing ever, but here the conversation is what made it worthwhile.
And what's fall without s'mores?!

A campfire in the daylight may not have quite the same affect, but it still produced yummy s'mores!

And while it was a little brisk outside, overall the weather was still pretty nice. It was definitely a gorgeous day with that perfect blue sky. It made me wish I had done more fall stuff this year, seeing as I mostly missed MTSU's Homecoming and did not celebrate Halloween in the slightest this time around.
